How child support is paid
Just as every family is different, every child support case is different. The
Child Support Agency (CSA) will
advise you of how much child support needs to be paid based on your child support
assessment. CSA then collects the payment from the paying parent and transfers it to the
receiving parent - this is called CSA collect. CSA does not keep any of the money. The
paying parent chooses whether to make weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments.
